A few photos from my Thanksgiving trip to New Orleans and Baton Rouge. We had a great time imitating the paintings on the wall in our hotel…they were so awkward. Those hands! After this trip I was stuffed to the gills with good food, and fun family times. I was especially excited to be on the field for the beginning of the LSU game. My mom is an alum, and it was a dream of hers to bring her family to one of the games. This was really a trip to remember!

I’m heading to New Orleans and Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving with the family. I’ll be gone for a week and I’ve decided to go computer free!

Womp womp, no blog posts. BUT, when I’m back I’ll be filled to the gills with photos and yummy food. I think that’s a fair trade off, don’t you think?

Hope you all have a lovely/wonderful/fantastic/magical Thanksgiving. See you all in a week!

I woke up this morning with the thoughts of sunshine and birds chirping (according to the weather I looked at before I went to bed), and woke up to feel like I’m floating in a cloud. The fog is so thick today. Peaceful.

Today is the last work day of my quarter. One final was turned in yesterday, and I have one tomorrow. After this, it’s nothing but a loooong deserved break (I’ve been going non-stop since last winter!)

Things on my agenda for break: New Orleans with the family for Thanksgiving, best friend time in St. Louis with Megan, more friend time in Des Moines and Chicago with Stephanie and Gianna, and then family Christmas time in Chicago. I’ll be back in Savannah in time for new years with Marc. I’m packing my break full, but it will definitely be an adventure. I’m just sitting here day dreaming about it  now….I’m so so ready for it.
