ART THAT’S INSPIRING | marc marius mueller

I’m very excited to present this week’s art that’s inspiring, Marc Marius Mueller. Yes, this is the Marc that I’m always going on about on here. Marc has been taking a printmaking class this quarter for the first time, and has come out with some pretty spectacular stuff. On top, he has a screen print which nods to the ideas Germans have about the separation between east and west. The colors used are those of the German flag. On the bottom, Marc has created a palm god. He uses woodblock for this print. It’s an inside joke with his best friend back home. He’s a pretty private person, so I won’t get into too many details ;). Hope you’ve enjoyed his new found talents as much as I have! You can check out his website here. It’s under construction, but you can get a little background on him if you’d like.
